As cruise ships have grown bigger and more modern, the restaurants onboard multiplied. Now, every new ship from the cruise lines are equipped with cool options like Italian restaurants or a Sushi Bar, and, of course, the staple: a steakhouse.

Here’s our guide for steakhouses on the main American cruise lines: Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean International, Norwegian Cruise Line and Princess Cruises.

1Chops Grille on Royal Caribbean International

Royal Caribbean International has one of the most traditional steakhouses afloat, the Chops Grille. It was introduced for the first time more than ten years ago, and is now present on every ship of the fleet (the only exception is Majesty of the Seas).
